Reverse logistics, a response to the new environmental regulations.
Not to be confused with managing returns following refusal to accept delivery,
Reverse logistics has two purposes:
- Reclaiming end-of-life products
Today, obsolescence caused by technological progress and the multiplication of modal phenomena have led to an increase in the number of end-of-life products.
- Reconditioning products during their life span.
The evolution of systems and means of commercialization (rental, leasing) and exchanges under warranty are creating an increasing amount of product returns during their life span.
From automotive to high-tech , from industry to health , reverse logistics address the environmental problems of every business sector and meet the increasingly stringent demands of legislation.
